LA VALLEY COLLEGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT & FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER

This facility for Los Angeles Valley College combines a Child Development Center (CDC) for 144 children with the College’s Child Development Department (CDD) consisting of four college classrooms, support / administrative areas and faculty offices. 

 

While the CDD and CDC house distinctly different functions, they have a strong commonality in the development of young children.  

 

This working synergy between the Center and the Department is reflected in the physical site layout. Each has its own separate entrance & facilities, but together they form a protected courtyard for the children
