Carde Ten Architects is a service-oriented design firm specializing in facilities that enhance the quality of life in local communities. Examples include child care centers, multi-family housing, libraries, schools, recreation centers, and public safety facilities.

As a result, most of our clients are municipalities (e.g. LA City and County, Pasadena, Burbank, etc.), institutions (e.g. The Getty Trust, Cal State LA, Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine, Moorpark College, LA Valley College, etc.), and non-profits (e.g. The Salvation Army, Little Tokyo Service Center, etc.)

Most of our work involves public money and public participation. We are confortable with the scrutiny and collaboration that attaches to such projects. We work hard to build consensus with all the stakeholders, including the general public, City departments, maintenance staff, and City Council.
